Tagliatta Simple and Delicious

I am so enjoying my new cook book (see post) A Twist Of The Wrist: Quick Flavorful Meals with ingredients from Jars, Cans, Bags and Boxes. Last night in 20 minutes I whipped up Tagliatta. It is a seared steak that was marinated in 3/4 cup balsamic, 3 tablespoons EVOO and 3 tablespoons fresh rosemary. It is plated with Arugula, shaved Parmigiano-Reggiano and drizzled EVOO and balsamic over the top. So simple and only a few ingredients. It has a wonderful meld of flavors with the rosemary, balsamic and pepper flavor of the Arugula, and wicked filling!

I love anything with a balsamic flavour and this sounds really delish.

This is one of my go-to recipes that I have been making for years. We call it Straccetti. Same concept minus the rosemary.
