Wahoooo! I don't know what happened but I fixed my sewing machine and it purrrrrrs. I am so happy I can't even tell you. For the last couple of months I have done everything (I thought) to figure out why it was such a loud, thread gathering, needle skipping, ready to take a bat to it mess. Even my husband made a comment about how it sounded at one time almost like a machine gun! I have changed bobbin cases, tried every combination of thread tensions, cleaned, oiled...tried it all and nothing was working. It would "act" fine for a couple stitches and then jack up my fabric once again, well not tonight!
Tonight I decided to take a part the machine piece by piece literally. Clean and oil every piece and put it all back in like the book suggests and now it's so perfect. Better than perfect, it's so smooth like my baby girls butt!
