It is getting cold and the leaves are falling. However my girls do not care, they want to wear dresses year round. So it is time to start sewing with cool weather fabrics like corduroy, fleece and denim.
These dresses were my sewing project last week and my girls could not have been more excited. They love them! Made from soft corduroy, the bodice is lined and has pipping detail on the bib. The ruffled sleeves and button back add to the sweetness of this design. This is my new favorite pattern.
You can find the E Pattern for Kate's Dress by Lily Bird Studio at You Can Make This! If your not a sewer, no worries, I am in the works of making a few different sizes from different corduroy fabric patterns and colors. So keep an eye out for my "for sale" post!

Super cute! I just got a pattern for a basic dress that will pair easily with a long sleeved plain top for fall & winter.
I haven't sewn in ages, but used to make alot of my own clothes when I was in high school.
Very cute dresses, colorful fabric and your daughters have the modeling thingy down pat. :)
