Can't Help But Laugh

I just had to share a couple funny things my eldest daughter C did today. It goes along with that whole "kids say the darnedest things". This morning I'm dressing to go to the doctors and my youngest M has picked up a bra from the floor and is watching me put on my other one and decides she is going to try it out too. C comes walking into the room and stops, looks at M with a very puzzled look as M is all tied up in the bra straps, looks up at me and watches for a moment, then turns back to M and says " you can't ware that you don't have big muscles". ROFL! I about died, I had to run out to my husband and share.

Later in the day C wanted to go water the lawn with daddy (granted it has been raining) so she goes and put her shoes on. As she stands in front of me I notice her shoes are on the wrong feet. I point out the shoes to C....she looks down at her feet, crosses her left foot over her right foot and says with much authority "there, now their right!" Oh my, where do they come up with these things!

That's really funny. Both stories are. Good idea switching feet rather than shoes!

Oh, so very cute. My kiddos like to put my bras on and then run around with my panties on their heads. We can't share those kind of pictures with anyone, because, well...I wear skimpy underwear. It's my secret. Or was....hmmm....

Dropping by from SITS. Congrats on YOUR DAY! I just love what kids say!!! I was babysitting my nephew one time (he's now grown up!) and he wanted some bubble gum. (I can't chew it because of TMJ syndrome) so I just said Nathan, we don't chew bubble gum in this house. To which he came back with "where do you chew it?" ! I just love it!!!

LOL...those are both pretty funny!!! You gotta admit that her switching her feet around to match the shoes was pretty brilliant, even if it would've made for awkward walking!

OK, the shoe thing? Totally adorable.

You should add a label "Things to tell C's dates when they show up" for future reference. Very funny.

Oh how funny! When my stinkerbell was about 3, I told her her shoes were on the wrong feet and she told me they were the only feet she had! LOL

Kids do say the funniest things and the fact that they don't realize just exactly WHAT they have said makes it even cutier.

These were two very cute stories. I have a 7 yr ld and it amazes me just what does come out of his mouth at time...so serious and yet at the time I'm trying so hard not to laugh.

I really love your blog...thank you for sharing...Hugs!!

HA HA HA. that is too funny. My daughter (age 3) a few weeks back as we were in Target walked over and picked up a blue bra of a rack and said "mommy mommy can we buy this?!?!" I said "not today honey put it back" she did so and skipped away saying "YAY I'm so excited!" ha ha. I about died, because there were quite a few bi-standers. he he.

kids are cute.

As my older boys go through the teenage years and my younger ones, well, continue through the little years, I see a beautiful contrast in their conversations and have descided that those adorable conversations, stored in our hearts, are what keeps us from doing them in when their verbal choices just plain frustrate!

I loved your post!
