I just had to share a couple funny things my eldest daughter C did today. It goes along with that whole "kids say the darnedest things". This morning I'm dressing to go to the doctors and my youngest M has picked up a bra from the floor and is watching me put on my other one and decides she is going to try it out too. C comes walking into the room and stops, looks at M with a very puzzled look as M is all tied up in the bra straps, looks up at me and watches for a moment, then turns back to M and says " you can't ware that you don't have big muscles". ROFL! I about died, I had to run out to my husband and share.
Later in the day C wanted to go water the lawn with daddy (granted it has been raining) so she goes and put her shoes on. As she stands in front of me I notice her shoes are on the wrong feet. I point out the shoes to C....she looks down at her feet, crosses her left foot over her right foot and says with much authority "there, now their right!" Oh my, where do they come up with these things!

Very cute! thanks for popping over and saying hi!
They are pretty cute! It's a good thing you are writing this down so you can remind them of it when they are older. :-)
Very funny! Muscles!!!
I love your new Sew Fierce site! The page looks GREAT!!!
My daughter is totally interested in bras right now. That "muscles" story is very funny!!!!
That's really funny. Both stories are. Good idea switching feet rather than shoes!
Off to check out your store.
LMAO!! That is too funny! They do say the funniest things.
So cute! I love hearing the things little ones come up with!
Yes kids say the darnest things and are soo honest too! Your blog is cute! Just saying hi from SITS!
HAHAHA! That is too funny!
Thanks for stopping by!
Too cute, you'll have to tell them this story when they start to get muscles. Happy SITS day to you again!
Very cute! Over sits
You just have to love their simple logic, don't you? LOL
I love how a child's mind works!
It always amazes me when we get a glimpse of how a child is making sense of the world. Too cute!
Brilliant!
Too cute! Should we just call you "Muscles" now?
Enjoy your SITS stardom!
Ha, hysterical! :)
Haha! I love the things kids come up with. Really imaginative and fun to see how their minds work:)
I don't have children but can imagine they provide a lot of blog fodder!
and some 'muscles' are bigger than others ;)

Ha ha ha! That is so cute! I love that!
Happy SITs.

You do some fine sewing!
That's the first time I've heard that kind of comment about a bra! How cute!
That is funny! Muscles!LOL
Out of the mouth of babes! So cool that you have these stories journal ed on your blog.
Ha! I wish my "muscles" weren't so droopy! Stopping by from SITS.
Oh, so very cute. My kiddos like to put my bras on and then run around with my panties on their heads. We can't share those kind of pictures with anyone, because, well...I wear skimpy underwear. It's my secret. Or was....hmmm....
OMG!! That was one funny story!! I love the one abt shoes! How so sweet.. Kids gotta be like that you know. Full of funny comments & adorable acts.. You're truly blessed! :)
Dropping by from SITS. Congrats on YOUR DAY! I just love what kids say!!! I was babysitting my nephew one time (he's now grown up!) and he wanted some bubble gum. (I can't chew it because of TMJ syndrome) so I just said Nathan, we don't chew bubble gum in this house. To which he came back with "where do you chew it?" ! I just love it!!!

That's hilarious! I love reading the funny things that children say! And how smart of her to cross her feet like that! Love it!
Kids can be so hilarious. It's a good thing you are writing them down.
Too funny! I love your Etsy store!
Happy SITS day!! I love the description of big muscles!! Just about died when I read that!!
By the way those Christmas dresses you made your girls are so cute!!
*snort* they'll keep you on your toes- that's for sure!
LOL...those are both pretty funny!!! You gotta admit that her switching her feet around to match the shoes was pretty brilliant, even if it would've made for awkward walking!
OK, the shoe thing? Totally adorable.
You should add a label "Things to tell C's dates when they show up" for future reference. Very funny.
Oh how funny! When my stinkerbell was about 3, I told her her shoes were on the wrong feet and she told me they were the only feet she had! LOL
Kids do say the funniest things and the fact that they don't realize just exactly WHAT they have said makes it even cutier.
These were two very cute stories. I have a 7 yr ld and it amazes me just what does come out of his mouth at time...so serious and yet at the time I'm trying so hard not to laugh.
I really love your blog...thank you for sharing...Hugs!!
She's a clever one!
Happy SITS day!
Well, I guess they are a muscle, but I've never thought of them that way.
Muscles, huh? Is that what gives us our strength?
Hmmm...Maybe it is!
Happy SITS day!
Too funny! My nephew walked in on my sister getting dressed one day and exclaimed "OOooooOOO! Ribs!". He's 5 now and still calls them ribs. Kids are the best. Happy SITS Queen day!
Hahaha... kids really do say the darndest things! ;)
I love it! This age is so fun (well within reason you know) and I love how they interpret things!
Ha! It's amazing what their little brains think:)
bahahahahahaha! Boy if they were muscles...lol
I love the problem solving with crossing the feet...priceless!
Too Cute! I love when kids just say stuff like that. Make them more precious then what they already are.
Yours Truly,

HA HA HA. that is too funny. My daughter (age 3) a few weeks back as we were in Target walked over and picked up a blue bra of a rack and said "mommy mommy can we buy this?!?!" I said "not today honey put it back" she did so and skipped away saying "YAY I'm so excited!" ha ha. I about died, because there were quite a few bi-standers. he he.
kids are cute.

Happy feature sits day!
Just love your decor here. Totally sweet!
Hi from SITS!
I love the bit about her feet being right, that is such wonderful child logic!
So Cute! Happy SiTS day!
As my older boys go through the teenage years and my younger ones, well, continue through the little years, I see a beautiful contrast in their conversations and have descided that those adorable conversations, stored in our hearts, are what keeps us from doing them in when their verbal choices just plain frustrate!
I loved your post!
Omg, this is hilarious!! It's true, kids do say the darndest things! I'm a little late reading your 3 posts because work got super mega crazy yesterday, but I wanted to wish you a Happy SITS Day again!
So I guess you have big guns huh? Ah ha ha. Too cute.
Way funny! Now there's one for 'the girls' LOL Now that I'm a grandmom, can't wait until my granddaughter 'Lil Moomette starts saying things like that to her mom! Payback!
Happy SITS day!
Oh my goodness! Positively priceless! It's so wonderful that we're able to preserve these gems for posterity on our blogs!
