Today's Lunch

So far this week has been busy, busy! My youngest M started PreK on Monday and hubby is on leave all week. Sunday we went out to the apple trees on our property and picked so many that I spent yesterday canning Apple Pie Filling and Apple Butter (recipes to come) and made a delicious Chicken Cacciatore in the crockpot (recipe posted soon). So needless to say I am behind on posting this weeks lunches.

Monday we went for a turtle theme because it seemed like it would be a slow week. A turkey sami turtle with

a cheesy shell. melon and goldfish. Tuesday was a zoo of a day, so it was fitting that the lunch was also a zoo. Turkey animal sami's, melon and tomatoes. Today I want C to know she is my shinning star so packed in our Easy Lunchboxes we have a PB & Honey sami, carrots, melon, grapes, yogurt pretzels and raisins.
