A Day for All We Do!

To all you awesome mommies out there. I wish you all a wonderful, relaxing Mother's Day.
I myself had a very nice day. The girls gave me a card, cake, balloons, flowers and a certificate for a 1 1/2 hour massage! 1 1/2 hours? That seems a little long to me...I can barely sit still for 10 minutes these days. It was a sweet gesture from my loving husband who said and I quote "you really need to relax!" I'm hoping he meant it as that I have been working really hard unpacking the house, working on orders, dealing with the girls in a new place...and not that I have been cranky and crabby and need to freakin relax. Granted he would be right on both accounts...haha

Then we had family come visit for a BBQ and a few games of 31. Cards in our family has been a tradition since my mom was a baby. I remember my great grandmother (may she rest in peace) teaching me how to play Rummy and War as soon as I could sit at the table. She would always bust out the cups of nickles she collected from playing the slots in Laughlin. It always looked like so much money. So now it is great when we can get together, play and carry on the tradition.

It sounds like a wonderful day, and 90 minutes will fly by. In fact, you may be sleeping during part of it depending on if you get a deep tissue or relaxation massage. I've never had one myself, but as part of the bachelorette party for the wedding I was in last November we did a spa day. Most of the girls had 90 minute massages and they ALL said it could've gone on all day as far as they were concerned. You'll have to let us know how you like it.

PS: I see you just did a tag, but I tagged you on my blog. In your shout out, I mentioned our giveaway and Etsy store. I'm going to Tweet about it in a few days to spread out the "advertising".

Thanks for stopping by.

Kudos to your hubby for getting you a 90-minute massage. Massages have to be at LEAST 90 minutes... :)

What a lovely Mother's Day! I'm glad you posted on my blog, there are a lot out there to follow and I'm trying to read every one! I'm on board with yours!! I'm also a coffee addicted Stephanie, and though I crashed my motorcycle during the training course, I cannot wait to get back to LA.

I'm glad you had a wonderful Mother's Day. 1-1/2 hours- I would fall asleep :D

My grandmother was hugely into card games as well and taught me Rummy. Even my son has been playing cards since he was about 8.

Sooooo looking forward to the cheeseball pics :-) Thanks for playing!
