It's been so long since I have sewn that I kinda forgot that is what I used to do pre bento & MTM. I bet most of you forgot too...lol A few weeks ago I was scanning Banberry Place (it's where I buy my patterns) and I started to become inspired again. So as usual I placed my order and in a few days they arrived..yippeee!
This is the Farbenmix LisAnn. It has two versions of the skirt (one has a cute bag) but I decided to do the layered one first. I LOVE it! I have to say though that this pattern is in German so it took me awhile to translate and figure out how Farbenmix was doing the construction. The layers are not simply attached to the layer above it but there is actually a whole valance layer underneath each section. So once I figured that out the construction was more simple than I thought.

You sew?!? ;)
It turned out DARLING! I love the method of layering via "valance" style as you call it....rather than just sewing the ruffles onto the back fabric. Love your fabric choices and C looks BEAUTIFUL!
I just cannot get over how beautiful your little model is! She is distracting from the clothes! lol
My little girl would love to wear this! You are so clever.
