Our children's health is always top priority as a mother. Making sure they have the best of everything is a must especially when it comes to what we put into their little bodies. However I have found in this busy run here, run there life it is sometimes hard to be as persistent as I would like. I know my girls nutrition doesn't suffer but it sure could be better.
Twinlab Corp just launched in March their newest children's supplement here in Southern California. An Omega-3 powder called Marine Friends Omega-3 Powder. This is no pill or gummy vitamin. They are individual single serving sticks that contain 127mg of Omega-3 per serving. We all have heard the reports of how Omega-3 is so important to brain, eye, and heart development but if your like me sometimes you wonder if you child is getting enough in their diet.
Now I do not have to wonder and worry. I simply open a single serving stick every morning and add it to the juice. While Twinlab Corp claim the Marine Friends Children's Omega-3 Powder has a light taste my girls, nor I have noticed any flavor and that is perfect for my little picky girls. I also like that the powder contains no added artificial flavors, colors, preservatives or sweeteners. The new powder is packaged and sold in boxes containing 30 easy to open single serving stick packs and is recommended not just for children over the age of one but for adults as well.
Personally I now keep a few packets in my purse for back up. Not always do I remember to make the juice/omega cocktail, so for those mornings when we are rushing out the door I know I have my back up and can add it to their drinks along the way. Makes my life so much easier.
Twinlab Corp is a brand I personally trust as I have been a consumer of their different products for years. "Twinlab Corp is a leading manufacture and marketer of high quality, science-based, nutritional supplements, including a complete line of vitamins, minerals, nutraceuticals, herbs and sports nutrition products."

I'll have to check this out. Thanks!
Hi Stephanie, A couple of questions that maybe you can answer: 1) Can you put this in a hot cocoa? and 2) Can I put it in milk? I totally believe in the importance of Omega 3. Thanks!
I have put it in milk and almond milk, juice and water.. it dissolves well when stirred. Have not tried in anything hot yet, but would imagine it would work great :)
