Mommy Bento #2

Tuna salad with cucumber and clover sprouts on Orowheat Sandwich Thins. Sami sits on a spinach salad with carrots and snap peas. Grapes and shooting star apples in one compartment and cracker mix in the other. This is a lunch I made a few days ago for myself packed inside my Easy Lunch Boxes container, so delish.

I am on vacation..can you tell..lol. Yesterday at 0400 the girls and I drove over the river and through the woods to grandmothers house. Not too bad driving 500 miles on only 1 1/2 hours of sleep (thanks to the girls). It was a smart idea leaving that early and traveling on a Sunday..no traffic not even through LA which was a first for me.

So now we are here, kicking back with plans to visit friends and family we haven't seen in years and do some local traveling..San Fransisco here we come! Poor hubby had to stay behind and work, we miss him but someone has to make the money to pay for my lavish lifestyle..rofl..as if!

Muffin Tin Monday at Her Cup Overfloweth

Today is Muffin Tin Monday! Normally I do our tins on Sunday to be ready to post Monday am, but since we were traveling it didn't happen. I am going to try to do our tins for lunch today and post later but we'll see.

Also starting today is Bento Summer School! Today starts week 1 - Bite Size Bento Lessons. I am so excited to learn more tips and tricks to making awesome bentos for me and my girls. If you haven't signed up yet...well why not, it's going to be awesome and is perfect for all you lovely's who have expressed your interest, but not sure how to start out.

Your probably thinking..but your on vacation 500 miles from home how are you going to do MTM and bentos ? Lets just say I borrowed an awesome little duffel bag from hubby...and packed all my supplies. That's right, I could not leave home without my bento boxes, supplies and tins. Only thing I forgot was my Easy Lunch Boxes containers, darn!!!

I should start making one for myself when I go to school instead of running hungry home at noon to make my lunch :)
