Silk PureAlmond Review and Giveaway

I have been a fan of Silk Soymilk for years. The vanilla and chocolate are my favorite, but during the holidays I really look forward to their Silk Nog...so delish! So because of my love for Silk I am very excited they have contacted me about this new product...Silk PureAlmond.

"Almonds are recognized by health professionals as a nutritious addition to a healthy diet. A serving of almonds provides an excellent source of vitamin E (a natural antioxidant), and a good source of protein and fiber. In fact, almonds are higher in protein and fiber than any other tree nut. Plus, they're naturally low in saturated fat and cholesterol-free.

It doesn’t take much to get from whole, natural almonds to Silk Pure Almond™ almondmilk. Each glass provides an excellent source of natural antioxidants* and as much calcium and vitamin D as dairy milk, with absolutely no cholesterol, saturated fat, dairy or soy. And, best of all, a serving of Silk Pure Almond Original almondmilk is only 60 calories, and a delicious glass of Vanilla is just 90."

As I sit here sipping my ice cold glass of Silk PureAlmond I am in heaven. The texture is like velvet, the taste is slightly sweet (I chose the Vanilla flavor) with a mild almond finish. M has just asked me for her second glass full so I know she is loving it as well. Plus I enjoy knowing this is good for my body as well as my family's.

Question: What are the nutritional benefits of almondmilk?

Answer: With 90 or fewer calories per serving and no saturated fat or cholesterol, almondmilk is a refreshing, delicious and versatile choice for a healthy lifestyle.

Excellent source of the antioxidant vitamin E

Great source of calcium (as much per serving as dairy milk!)

Good source of vitamin A

Lactose-Free

Cholesterol-Free

Zero saturated fat

Silk PureAlmond is a wonderful alternative for people who are lactose intolerant or allergic to soy products. Use it for your morning cereal, substitute it for milk in your baking or as I did make a morning mocha frappe with it! Silk PureAlmond has some amazing recipes like Chocolate Cinnamon Cake, Soups, Nutty Mocha Latte and more!

Hello again! :)
Just stopping in to enter the drawing. Can most honestly say I would like the almond soy because of the health benefits: esp. low cholesterol. My son has borderline high cholesterol (age 6), and we had him on soy milk for years. He was also allergic to dairy at that time. Once he outgrew the dairy allergy, we just kinda slid away from the soy. Will DEFINITELY give this one a try! And who knows...might start me back to purchasing it again! ;)

I want to win this because my son is lactose intolerant- so we go through a lot of almond and coconut milk! We haven't tried this brand before though.

I would love to try this brand. We've tried another and didn't like it so well. Now I am going to the store tonight and will be looking for this brand...I want soy nog now! But I guess I will be waiting.

I now "like" silk on facebook, because the fan thing is of the past...and that is stupid.

I think I would like to try the Silk product because I typically don't buy much milk because I am trying to be healthier and this is a great alternative.

I think I would like this because I drink Silk Vanilla Soymilk every day and enjoy it. I'm sure this would be tasty too
