Warmables Review/Giveaway
Warmables is an imaginative idea created by a mom and dad who love healthy food for themselves and their son. They wanted to find a way to send their son to school with a warm, healthy lunch instead of the normal cold sandwiches. Their hard work paid off in the invention of Warmables. This product gives parents the option of sending their children to school with a warm meal made from home. Just because our children are away from us, does not mean we have to sacrifice their nutritional needs.
When I first saw this product I knew it was great and that I needed to share it with all of you. Having a picky eating 4 yr old in my house, it was hard for me to make lunches for her when she went off the preschool. It ended up being the same thing every time, a cold sandwich or Lunchables. Not very nutritious and when it was winter time and cold, I was left with sending her to school with cold food. Well not anymore!
Now I can pack her favorite warm meals and know it will not only stay warm until lunch time, but that it is good for her too because I made it. I also like that Warmables will help me stretch my budget which is important now a days. I can send her with leftovers from dinner, her favorite pasta meals or her favorite lunch when we are home, steamed green beans and turkey dogs.
If used correctly Warmables will keep food warm for 6 hours! The Warmables lunch sack is a heat source consolidator which means it reflects heat back to what is stored inside. It holds a child's size portion which is about 1.9 cups of food and is BPA Free! They also are currently in the developing stage of creating adult size Warmables and Ladies Totes.
So easy to use. Warmables comes with it's own plastic food storage container, so no need to go searching for the perfect size Tupperware. Add food to container and heat thoroughly in microwave. Place container into Warmables pouch. Then heat the included cherry pit cotton bag for 45 seconds. The cherry pits act as the continuous heat source to help keep food warm. Please keep cherry pit bag away from small children as cherry pits are a choking hazard. Next, close the Velcro seal and place the pouch in your child's insulated lunch box. That's it, 3 super easy steps to healthy eating.
