No Brownies For Me

I totally planned on making the brownies from my last post...did it happen, nope. I'm finding it harder and harder to manage my time lately. And not that making yummy Brownie Smore's is a hard thing, but when I realize I didn't have eggs...or graham crackers....or marshmallows....it kinda took the wind out of my sails thinking that I would have to load 2 kids in the car and drive to the store, again. So instead I guess I will have to wait for my sweet treat until my next shopping trip.

Anyways, I am excited to say I am in the post "Create and Celebrate" from Sew Mama Sew! I love this site, all the ideas, inspirations, fabrics and of course the tutorials! I could spend a week straight i'm sure just in front of the computer looking at all the back posts. Very crafty mama's on that site!

Okay, so if I don't put enough on my plate to do, I am in the works of building English tutorials for the Farbenmix patterns with my own little notes and ideas as I make them. It's more work than I thought. Every time I move on to another step I have to stop and take pics.. yadda yadda.. and sometimes I get in the sewing zone and forget. So this might take longer than I thought but they will be coming. :)

Then I also decided for these cute outfits I wanted to start making matching bows. So I bought a fantastic e-book tut from You Can Make This. If you've never visited YCMT you need to! Anyways, bow making.....hard! You ladies who make these bows are wicked awesome! I didn't realize how hard it was. I guess looking at the step by step pics in the tut...it seemed easy but I think you kinda need 4 hands to do them..haha. I'm working it out though and hopefully they'll get better.
