First Craft Show Of The Season

Yesterday was the Moms Club of Scranton Craft Fair. The car was packed the night before in an attempt to keep my stress level down and not run late the next morning.  However as we know when children are involved, that rarely ever happens. We had a few melt downs here and there, nothing major. I still have to give my girls mad props for waking up at 0600, getting themselves dressed, packing a bag of activities and snacks and still getting out of the house at a decent time.

If you follow us on Facebook you saw me posting from the show. It was so much fun! We had local FB fans come out just to meet us and see our clothing in person. We met a bunch of new fierce fans and made some great connections.

As always before the show officially opens to the public the girls and I like to walk around and visit the other vendors. At this show I was lucky enough to have friends on either side of me so it was great to sit back and chat with them. The girls found these awesome glasses from my friend Aubrey who owns A Daily Obsession.

My girls wearing their Sew Fierce dresses are not only my live models but they love to pass out the business cards to people who stop by our booth. I am very lucky to have girls who not only love what mommy does but who want to actually help where ever they can. Of course they get "paid" for their work. Usually a little trinket or stuffy from one of the vendors. Not only are we teaching a work ethic but we are buying local..win win!

One the other side of me was my girlfriend Janine of MiaBella BoutiquePA. Towards the end of the day her daughter came to visit. Our girls have become craft show girlfriends I think..lol They always enjoy playing with each other and get along so wonderfully. Today they were playing "princess tag" with their butterfly fairy wands, it was too cute. When the show was done and everyone was packing up, they went around and picked up all the tape off the floor....such awesome helpers!

All the way around it was a fabulous day. We sold more clothing than I expected which is always a plus and I got to meet some wonderful people in the process.
